Imagine setting forth on a voyage of discovery to somewhere no one in your country has gone before. At the end of the 15th century men from several European countries began to do just that. You will be creating a Sunday Supplement for the newspaper, the Chronicle, celebrating five of the explorers of the Western Hemisphere.

Step 1:

  • You will be assigned a group.

Step 2:

  • Indicate for which European country he sailed
  • Visually indicate the reason for his expedition(s)
  • Map the areas of the Western Hemisphere where they explored
  • Highlight what he discovered.

Step 5:

You will be using Google Slides to present the information. Each group will have their own Google Slide presentation.
